Faculty and Staff: Highlights
Delia Nüesch-Olver
Seattle Pacific University faculty members share a vision of biblical reconciliation with the John Perkins Center at SPU. One such professor is Delia Nüesch-Olver, associate professor of global and urban ministry.
A faculty member since 1998, Nüesch-Olver was instrumental in establishing the Global and Urban Ministries (GUM) program in SPU's School of Theology.
Under Nüesch-Olver's leadership, GUM equips students — from all majors — to understand the theologically realities of the largely urban and multiethnic 21st century.

Now a Change
Recently, Nüesch-Olver announced that she is returning to full-time ministry. On August 1, 2008, she will become an area director of the Free Methodist Church of North America, providing ministry in Latin America and wherever Latin Americans are located around the world.
The Perkins Center wishes Dr. Nüesch-Olver well, and looks forward to working with her as she engages the culture and serves in a new way.
