Ready to Tackle the World

We have wrapped up another fabulously successful year at Seattle Pacific University.

I love spending time with our students — especially our graduating seniors — during the end of year. What a delight it is to see how these young lives have been shaped by the SPU way — these students are now ready to tackle the world!

A Place for Vision

These marvelous students often come to us with unclear ideas about what they want to study, or about how they can contribute to the world, or even about their Christian faith.

And yet during their time here, they catch a vision for their lives — a vision about how they can make a difference the in the world. They develop sense of certainty about who they are and what they can accomplish.

I love the energy and optimism of our students. There is very little skepticism here. These young men and women eagerly embrace the notion that Seattle Pacific University is the place where world change begins. They believe it; they really and truly know it to be true. What a delight it is to see these students heading off into the world with such confidence and conviction.

On Solid Footing

And so as we head into a beautiful summer, I want to say thank you to you for partnering with us in your student’s education.

I want you to know, too, that we are continuing to flourish in all ways at SPU. Despite the financial turmoil in the world around us, we are on solid footing. Our enrollments for next fall are so strong and demand for an SPU education remains higher than ever.

We have a bunch of blockbuster projects and programs in the works — so stay tuned.
