Kato Gives Presentation
Sharleen Kato, professor of family and consumer sciences, gave two presentations at the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) national meeting in Las Vegas. One presentation focused on integrating core curriculum, and one focused on incorporating STEM concepts into teaching life span development.
ACTE members include career and technical educators, administrators, and guidance counselors at the secondary and post-secondary levels. At the conference, the publisher of Goodheart Willcox introduced two new supplementary materials authored by Dr. Kato, including the Instructor's Annotated Workbook and the Workbook for the Lifespan Development textbook released earlier this year.
