Intern

The Importance of Internships
Internships are great opportunities for students to explore career interests, gain critical skills specific to professional disciplines, and increase marketability to employers. Senior Chloe Sandvik is currently doing her third internship: "My first internship was with a nonprofit called Krochet Kids International. The following summer I worked as a retail sales intern for Nordstrom, and this year I am a Peer Career Advisor at the Center for Career and Calling. My internships have helped me gain a sense of my skillset. My advice to students is to do at least one internship while in college. It’s an incredibly valuable experience, and it’s a great résumé builder."
