COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES - POLITICAL SCIENCE POSITION

Position:
Assistant Professor of Political Science, full-time, tenure-track. Available September, 2010.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in political science or related field, preferably with research and teaching focused on one or more of the following areas: international political economy, comparative politics, and international relations. Regional interests welcomed, including—but not limited to—South Asia, Latin America, China or the Pacific Rim.

Responsibilities:
Nine month load of 33 quarter credits which requires seven courses in the fields of comparative politics and international relations which includes—but is not limited to—international political economy, quantitative research methods, and two sections of a university-wide core curriculum class. Teaching loads can be adjusted to reflect teaching and research interests.

Compensation:
Compensation commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
