A former Seattle Pacific student, Doris Brougham traveled to Taiwan in 1950, devoting her life to educational leadership and Christian service in Asia. Her work in media, now internationally recognized, includes the founding of Overseas Radio and Television Inc, and publication of the top 2 English language magazines in Taiwan.  Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and fondly called "the teacher," Brougham's media outreach has a daily audience of more than a million Chinese people.
