This workshop is for existing PowerPoint users who are looking for ways to enhance their presentations. Participants will bring an existing PowerPoint to the workshop and will be given time to make modifications.
OBJECTIVES
- Learn how to avoid “Death by PowerPoint” syndrome by studying
counter examples. - Understand how to implement varied instructional strategies so presentations aren’t taking an entire class period.
- Learn how to integrate media from open content resources like Creative Commons and Wikimedia Commons.
- Leave the workshop with an improved presentation in hand.
