Word 2007
To convert a Word 2007 document into an HTML file (web page), do the following:
- Open the Word document you want to change into a web page.
- From the Office menu, select Save As.
- Locate where you want to save the file.
- From the Save as type dropdown menu, choose Web Page.
- Click the Change Title button, and type in the name of the page as you would like it to display in the title bar of your web browser.
- In the File name box, type a name for the document. Avoid using spaces; instead use underscores where needed (i.e. file_name).
- Click Save.
Word 2003
To convert a Word 2003 document into an HTML file (web page), do the following:
- Open the Word document you want to change into a web
page.
- From the File menu, select Save As.
- Locate where you want to save the file.
- From the Save as type dropdown menu, choose Web Page (*.htm;
*.html).
- Click the Change Title button, and type in the name
of the page as you would like it to display in the title bar of your web
browser.
- In the File name box, type a name for the document.
Avoid using spaces; instead use underscores where needed (i.e. file_name).
- Click Save.
