Once you have finished using a course site for a given term, it is recommended that you archive the site so that you have a record of it. An archived course site may also be imported into a new course site.
- Log into your new course site.
- Click the Control Panel.
- Under Course Options, click Import Package.
- Under Select a Package, click the Browse button.


- Locate the archived zip file on your computer, and
click Open.
- Under Select Course Materials, check the boxes
next to the items you would like to import.
- Click the Submit button.
- You will see a message notifying you that your request has been queued and that you will receive an email once the import process has completed.
NOTE: If you do not receive an email within 5 minutes of submitting your request to import a package, go ahead and proceed to step 9. Email notifications don't always go through like they should, and typically the course finishes importing a package within that period of time.
- Once the import process has completed, log into your new course site to ensure that all content imported correctly.
