If you plan to use all or part of the same content from a previous course, you can easily copy content into a new course site.
To copy an entire course or large content sections, do the following:
- Log into the site you want to copy from.
- Click the Control Panel.
- Under Course Options, click Course Copy.

- Click Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course.
- Click the Browse button next to Destination Course
ID.

- Search for the course you want to copy to.
Note: Oftentimes, the easiest way to search is by entering your username, checking the button for instructor, and clicking Search.

- Click the Select button to the right of the course
you to which you want to copy content.
- Next, check the boxes next to the different content
areas you want to copy.
WARNING: Do not copy the Enrollment of your past course into your new course.
- Click Submit.
- You will receive an email once the course content has copied successfully. Be sure to log into the new course site to ensure all information copied over correctly.
To copy individual folders or files, do the following:
- Log into the site you want to copy from.
- Click the Control Panel.
- Click on the content area in which the folder/file
is located.

- When you have located the folder/file, click the Copy
button to the right.

- Next to Destination Course, choose the course in which
you want to post the document.

- Next to Destination Folder, click the Browse button.
- In the Select Location window that opens, click on the area
where you want the folder/file to be posted. Once you have clicked
on a folder, the window will close, returning you to the main window.

- Click the Submit button.
