Collecting/Archiving
Discussion Board Threads for Viewing
- Login to the Online
Learning System, using your S P U username and password.
- Choose the course in which you are participating.
- Go to the Discussion Board.
- Highlight and copy this page. Paste it to a new Word document.

- Return to the course site. Click on the name of the forum whose
messages you want to archive. Highlight and copy the listing of
messages and paste this information to your Word document. Doing
so will help track the conversation. Be sure to save your Word
document.
- Returning to the course site and the forum whose messages you
want to copy, select “Show Options” in the top, right corner of
the page.
- Select messages by choosing the “select all” button on the task
bar.
- When the messages have been selected, click the “collect” button
on the task bar.
- Highlight and copy the collection of messages. Returning to
your Word document, choose Edit> Paste Special>Unformatted
Text. Save your Word Document.
- Back in the course site, click “OK” twice, going back to the
Discussion Board main page.
- Repeat steps 5-10 with each forum you want to archive.
- Save your Word document a final time.
