Yaeko ( Sakai ) Yoshihara

Yaeko graduated from Seattle Pacific College in 1952, in Nursing. She has spoke at a forum on Seattle Pacific University ’s campus on October 19, 2004 , sharing her incredible story of a young 12 year old girl who was forced to leave Bainbridge Island with the rest of her family, and was sent to Manzanar internment camp, in southern California . Yae decided to come to SPC after the internment. She explains her unique story through a video recording.
