Kimiko (Nagaoka) Mukai

Kimiko was a Sophomore at Seattle Pacific University in 1942. She was a Christian education major. According to her long time friend, Helen Hatch Crager, the two met when Crager was a Senior, while Nagaoka was a freshman. Crager recalled the time when Nagaoka was forced to go to camp. She also described the experience of having her father drive down to Puyallup so she could see her friend. She explained in a letter that “we had a visit through the fence-heartbreaking to have to see her like that.” She had three sons.
