Resizing an Image (Windows XP)

You may find that after you add an image to your ePortfolio that you need to resize it.  Many times the problem is that the image is too large.

For PC users a simple solution is to download the Image Resizer from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Once you have downloaded and installed the Image Resizer, you can easily resize an image by doing the following:

  1. Rick-click on the image file.

  2. Click Resize Pictures in the menu that appears.

  3. Select the size that suits your needs, and click OK.
The resized image will appear as a new file within the same folder.

  4. You may rename the image by right-clicking on the file and choosing Rename.

You will want to replace the existing image in your ePortfolio with the newly resized image.
