ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Application and application fee ($50).

Personal statement of professional and leadership goals; specific to the SHS Mission statement, describe your potential for success in a master’s level, leadership focused program of study and practice. State your expectations of graduate education .

Official college/university transcripts.

Undergraduate nursing degree with GPA 3.0 or better in the last 45 qtr nursing credits.

Proof of undergraduate statistics course with 2.0 or better.

Recommendation forms: one personal, two professional, one of which must be from a supervisor or instructor.
- A Washington State RN license with no practice restrictions.

No convictions for crimes against persons (Washington or resident state background check).

NP applicants only: documentation of active nursing practice within the last two years.

Graduate Admission interview.
- In-house responsive writing assignment.

Proof of RN liability insurance.
- Personal resume.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The following are steps that most applicants take to apply to the Graduate Nursing Program. There is no significance to the order in the list although it is helpful for us to receive your application before transcripts, test scores and letters start coming in! We recommend that you attend an Information Session or meet with the Graduate Admissions Counselor early in the application process. All application material should be sent to Graduate Center, Seattle Pacific University; 3307 3rd Ave W; Suite 111, Seattle, WA 98119-1922.
- Send completed application, application
fee ($50) and personal statement.
- Contact post-high school institutions
and request official transcripts be sent.
- Give letter of reference guidelines
to personal and professional references and request that they mail
their responses directly to the MSN Office.
- If needed, enroll in an undergraduate statistics
class (community college, correspondence course) and/or have transcript
of completed course sent.
TUITION AND FEES
In addition to direct institutional costs,
tuition at Seattle Pacific University covers a wide range of student
services including guidance and health services and use of the University
science and data laboratories, library, Student Union building, and
post office boxes. Other full-time student benefits include
admission to all University athletic events and participation in intramural
activities. All tuition, fees and other charges are payable

PAYMENT OPTIONS
