Gain firsthand experience in a challenging and rewarding field.

Are you a junior or senior in high school and have not yet begun college? Then you are invited to attend Nursing Camp 2008.

  • Observe nurses in a hospital setting.
  • Learn skills in SPU's Nursing Lab.
  • Attend seminars taught by SPU faculty and alumni.
  • Explore specialty areas in nursing, including operating room, pediatrics, and public health.
  • Go sightseeing in Seattle!

Details

Dates: August 3-9, 2008 (Sunday evening through Saturday lunch)
Location: Seattle Pacific University, 3307 Third Avenue West, Seattle, WA, plus various clinical sites.
Cost: $750. The cost includes:
  • Six-nights lodging.
  • Meals from Sunday dinner to Saturday lunch.
  • T-shirt and water bottle.
  • Transportation to all hospital clinicals and recreational events.
Some scholarships are available.
