The Good News About Fall Prevention

Falls are one of the five leading causes of hospitalization in Washington, with over 12,500 admissions in 2006. In the next twenty years. Washington's population of adults over 65 years of age will double. Anticipating this, Washington State Department of Health is putting much effort in a statewide educational campaign and will use this 8 minute consumer-oriented video to give advice directly to older adults on what they can do to reduce their risk of having a fall.
