Winter 09 - Introduction to New Website

In the School of Health Sciences we take our mission seriously. Based on the University’s mission statement, we work to prepare “graduates of competence and character to engage the culture and change the world.”

With this in mind you will find throughout our webpages indications of how we go about the educational process, from application materials for prospective students to program planning for current students to alumni accomplishments and outcomes.

And you will see how we work in partnership with our professional community and how our work is informed by our Advisory Board, students, and alumni.

We maintain standards of educational excellence based on the American Association for Colleges of Nursing “Essentials for Baccalaureate and Master’s Education”. Our nursing programs are accredited by the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education and approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission.
