About the School of Health Sciences

Accreditation

The nursing program is approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission and accredited by the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education.

 

After 10 years of full accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the School of Health Sciences hosted an accreditation site visit April 22–24, 2009. All three programs were reviewed: Prelicensure, R.N. to B.S., and master's of nursing. 

 

November Update - Good News!

The School of Health Sciences has achieved an important milestone.  On November 6, 2009 we received written notification from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education that the school has been awarded a 10-year accreditation of its undergraduate and graduate nursing programs!!!
