Description of Duties

Responsible for maintaining and operating lighting equipment in McKinley theatres. Supervises the lighting crew in the installation, operation and strike of lighting equipment, including hanging, patching and circuiting of plot.

Skills / Qualifications

Knowledge of lighting equipment, dimmers, and related equipment; lighting board programming; basic electricity, circuits and troubleshooting; good organization and supervision skills; knowledge of theatrical protocols and conventions.

Experience Required

One year of Production Practicum on electrics crew, or equivalent. Lighting design background or interest is desirable.

Level of Supervision

Works under supervision of Technical Director and/or Production Manager
