Description of Duties

Assists the student Costume Shop Supervisor with fittings, costume construction, wardrobe, laundry, and dressing. Responsible for the construction of costume pieces and the completion of the costume plot. Assists in the maintenance of costume shop equipment. One position may be assigned to Wardrobe.

Skills / Qualifications

Knowledge of costume construction methods. Patternmaking, cutting, draping, and sewing skills. Familiarity with theatrical procedures.

Experience Required

One year of Production Practicum or equivalent.

Level of Supervision

Works under supervision of Production Manager.
