A Reading List for Students of Theatre

The original title of this appendix was to be “Books Every Undergraduate Theatre Student Should Know”, but obviously, even though the listing is stunningly simplified, such a reading task is beyond time allotted to the undergraduate years. The play script recommendations, especially, are slenderized. Nevertheless, it’s a great goal, worthy of pursuit. The bibliography is presented alphabetically by subject area.
