McKinley Green Sheet

The information listed below must be submitted FOUR WEEKS prior to your performance date, either by submitting electronically, or by hardcopy alone (see Crawford Office for traditional Green Sheet form.)

When you submit this form, the information you fill in is ONLY sent to the FPA Administrative Assistant Bobbie Childers, the Theatre Technical Director, and Ron Haight at FFMC--similar to a hardcopy. Submitting this form does not automatically email or inform other persons.

NOTE that you are responsible for contacting other persons separately--for example, scheduling rehearsal times and confirming reception venue. Most of those steps are listed below.

Rehearsal Scheduling

McKinley Stage: this venue books up quickly, so request rehearsal times early.
To request rehearsal time in McKinley, email Don Yanik or call 281-2145.

FFMC: To request rehearsal time in FFMC, email Bobbie Childers or call 281-2411.

To request rehearsal time in other venues, contact the scheduler of their hall.

Programs

Program copy is due to the Fine and Performing Arts Office no later than two weeks prior to your performance date. If it is late, there may not be time to have it printed. See the Music Handbook or Admin Assistant for style and content suggestions.

Copy must be submitted in PC format.

Copy may be submitted in MS Word or MS Publisher.

Copy may be submitted on 3.5" disk, ZIP100 disk, or emailed. It is strongly suggested you discuss your copy in person with Bobbie Childers. Email Bobbie Childers

Reception

You are responsible for arranging and funding a reception. It is suggested that you delegate that responsibility to another person or party (ie Mu Phi, Sodexho Marriott, Mom and Dad.)

Recording Scheduling

There are different types and providers of recording in different venues.

McKinley Stage Audio Recording.

McKinley Theatre audio recording. The theatre will record directly to CD, DAT, or cassette. CD-Rs are provided; you provide other media. CDs are direct-to-disc recordings; the Theatre does not provide post-production editing. The Music Tech program may do this under some circumstances; contact Ron Haight for details.

No audio recording needed

McKinley Stage Video Recording

McKinley Theatre does not provide video recording services. You may arrange it with a friend or family member with the following conditions:
-Recording equipment must be set up in the far rear of the house, including microphones
-No additional lighting is allowed or provided
-Setup msut be completed by house open (usually 7 PM)
-McKinley provides no equipment, media or personneI

However, McKinley personnel ask that you inform them if you will do video recording.

McKinley Stage

McKinley stage provides upon request:
Grand Piano
Page Turner Chair
6" Risers
Onstage Tables (you provide tablecloth)
Piano tuning. The stage piano is tuned frequently, and once prior to each sequence of performances. If you require a special tuning for your performance, check here..

Stands. Music stands (McKinley stocks 8. Please make other arrangements if you require more.)
If needed, how many?

Chairs. Black plastic chairs (Please make other arrangements if you require a specialized chair)
Black folding chairs: how many?

Stage set-up. If you require a special stage set-up, or multiple settings during your performance, draw a picture (neatness and some semblance of scale helps,) and drop it in the Technical Director's mailbox in Crawford. If you prefer, draft it in AutoCAD and email it.

Additional equipment. If you intend to bring in additional instruments or equipment, such as a harpsichord, second piano, percussion or Gamelon, please note that here.

Load-in time. Standard load-in time is 6 PM. Your set-up must be complete by 7 PM when the house opens. If you require additional time to load-in (ie percussion,) please note how much time and when you would prefer to load-in. Timeslots must be confirmed by Production Manager Don Yanik or Technical Director Jerry Collum.

Additional Stagehands. For each performance, there is one stagehand backstage to assist. Will your performance require an additional person (for example, to move a harpsichord during a program break?) Check here.
