One of Shakespeare's greatest comedies, Much Ado About Nothing begins with the celebrations for the impending nuptials of Claudio and Hero. Their marriage is thwarted by the devious and resentful prince, Don John. Meanwhile, for the second pair of lovers, Beatrice and Benedick, whose endless and witty sparring threatens to keep them apart, marriage seems inconceivable.
