INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION POLICIES FOR STUDENTS STUDYING PRIVATELY

1. Individual lessons are offered in 1 hour or 1/2 hour sessions.

2. Individual lessons are offered on a monthly or lesson-by-lesson basis.

3. Individual lesson fees are by the month at a flat rate. Those months with five lessons (generally four each year) make up for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas and Spring Break. Those months may offer three lessons.

4. Monthly lesson payments are due on the first lesson of each month.

5. Lesson payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $10.00 late fee.

6. Students are responsible for attending each lesson. Students will be charged for lessons canceled. Lessons may be rescheduled if time and space is available and if the request is received 24 hours in advance.

7. Lessons canceled by the studio will be rescheduled or credited toward the next month’s lesson payment.

8. There will be no refunds for termination of instruction.

9. Students are expected to practice a minimum of 30 minutes per day, bring all required music and materials and be prepared for each lesson.
