Bachelor of Arts and Music Minor

The percussion field is vast, thus requiring a need for an extensive amount of mallets and instruments. It must be understood that the list of implements will only provide you with the minimum amount of materials needed for study in the percussion studio.

As you develop as a player and as you start performing more solo literature it will be necessary for you to purchase additional mallets, sticks, instruments, methods books and sheet music. I highly recommend you talk to me about the equipment you are going to purchase before you purchase it. If you already have some sticks and mallets let me know what they are so that we can modify the list to best suit your needs. Throughout your studies at SPU you will be required to purchase all music that you are playing for your lessons and juries.
