THE SPU JAZZ BAND is a group of musicians comprised of SPU students from all majors. The ensemble rehearses twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9pm in Crawford Music Building. During fall and spring quarters, the ensemble focuses on the jazz repertoire. In addition, during the winter quarter (and the basketball season), the ensemble performs to enthusiastic crowds at home games in Brougham Pavilion. The SPU Jazz Band is conducted by Bill Parks.
