Notes

In the 1991-1992, Robert Scandrett served as interim director of the Concert Choir. Professor Scandrett had recently retired from his position of choral director at Western Washington University. An SPC graduate, he taught a few years at SPC in the 50's and directed the A Cappella Choir. Ruthanna Metzgar continued as director of the Women's Choir.

The Autumn Concert, held November 1, featured the Concert Choir, Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. The cantata "Rejoice in the Lamb" by Britten and the "Gloria" by Dvorak were presented with Diane Johnson on organ and soloists Cindy Isaak, soprano; Tina Tischhauser, alto; Randy Faber, tenor; and Jonathan McCallum, bass. The choirs also participated in Lessons and Carols at the end of the quarter. The Winter Concert was held February 1 with the Concert Choir, Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Another winter term concert was presented on February 28 with the Concert Choir and Women's Choir. This concert featured "Hear My Prayer" by Mendelssohn with Diane Johnson accompanying on organ and Ruthanna Metzgar, soprano soloist. Also featured was the "Rejoice in the Lamb" with soloists Kathy Haight, soprano; Linda Schueffele, alto; John Hendrix, tenor; and David Baker, bass. The Concert Choir, Women's Choir and Symphony Orchestra presented a Spring Concert on May 20. Featured on that concert were the "Gloria" by Vivaldi and "Requiem" by Fauré. Stephen Casurella assisted on continuo for the Vivaldi. Soloists were Jonathan McCallum, baritone, and Tara Rush, soprano.
