Notes

In 1974-1975, Philip Mack continued as director of the Concert Choir and Wayne Balch as director of the Oratorio Society.

The Concert Choir performed their local concerts and enjoyed a tour to Colorado with stops in Kennewick, Nampa, Caldwell, Boise, Murray, Grand Junction, Boulder, Englewood, Denver, and Wheat Ridge.
1974-1975 Repertoire

The Oratorio Society presented their Christmas concert on December 8, 1974 at First Presbyterian Church. Lylburn Layer conducted a performance of the "Messiah" by Handel. Carl Reed assisted on harpsichord, Gail Wieldraayer on organ. Philip Mack prepared the chorus. Soloists were Virginia Lockard, soprano; Noyuir Tsuchiyama, alto; Dan Hibbett, tenor; and Richard Clarke, bass. On May 18, 1975, the Society presented Brahms' "A German Requiem" at First Presbyterian. Wayne Balch conducted with Lester Groom on organ and Rebecca Groom on piano. Soloists were Cheryl Lootens, soprano, and Samuel Cheung, baritone.
