Notes

The 1972-1973 school year saw a continuation of directors for the major choral ensembles. Wayne Balch conducted the Oratorio Society and Philip Mack directed the Concert Choir.

The Concert Choir's tour season took them to Oregon and California with stops in Portland, Salem, Klamath Falls, Yuba City, San Jose, Sacramento, Turlock, Concord, Oakland, Redwood City, Eureka, Cottage Grove, Newberg, and Portland.
1972-1973 Repertoire

According the the yearbook, the SPC Singers were known as "Vision" during this school year.

On December 1, 1972, the Oratorio Society, the SPC Singers and the Concert Choir presented a Christmas Chapel program.

The Oratorio Society with the College Orchestra presented Handel's "Messiah" on December 3, 1972 at the Seattle Opera House. Lester Groom assisted on harpsichord. Soloists were Wadad Saba, soprano; Shirley Lee Harned, contralto; Brian Trevor, tenor; and Philip Mack, bass. On May 20, 1973, they presented Mozart's "Requiem" at the College Church. Elaine Yale accompanied on piano and Lester Groom on organ. Soloists were Kathleen Yeager, soprano; Janyce Austin, contralto; Lyle Hansen, tenor; and Michael Wilson, bass.
