In 1965-1966, Phil Mack directed the A Cappella Choir and the Oratorio Society.

Oratorio Society presented the "Messiah" at the Seattle Opera House on December 5, 1965 as their Christmas concert. Phil Mack conducted with Marcile Mack on piano and Winston Johnson on organ. Soloists were Wadad Saba, soprano; LaVerne Poet Traina, alto; Thomas Tavener, tenor; and Hubert Wash, baritone. On June 10, 1966, they presented Haydn's "The Creation" at McKinley Auditorium. With the same forces accompanying, soloists were Gayle Moran, soprano; Linda Hall, soprano; Ruth Lynes, soprano; Roderic Edwards, tenor; and David Baker, bass.

The Falcon Men's Chorus was a new ensemble on campus. It was organized by the ASSPC and run by students. Frank Varro directed.

The 1966 A Cappella tour took the ensemble through California visiting Portland, La Crescenta, Pasadena, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Palo Alto, Sacramento and finishing their tour season with a home concert at the Opera House on June 12, 1966. During this year, the college celebrated its Seventy-fifth Anniversary. This commemoration was noted during the choir's tour.
