Lawrence Schoenhals remains Director of the School of Music in the 1958-1959 school year along with his duties as Dean of Administration. He continues to direct the Oratorio Society. Philip Mack is the director of the A Cappella Choir and Carl Reed directed the Chorale.

The Oratorio Society performed two major concerts. The "Messiah" was presented in the Autumn Quarter and "St. Paul" by Mendelssohn in the Spring Quarter. No other information about this year is available.
