Notes

Lawrence Schoenhals continued as Director of the School of Music in 1952-1953. He also conducted the A Cappella Choir and the Oratorio Society. Dean Arlton continued as director of the Men's Glee Club and Hubert Wash as director of the Girls' Glee Club (named Ladies' Glee in the yearbook).

The A Cappella Choir toured to California. Literature included "Rock-a-my Soul," "Fierce Was the Wild Billow," and "Born Today." Basses or tenors were busy setting up risers and Team "C" (all the girls) cleaned up after meals, according the the yearbook!

The Oratorio Society presented the "Messiah" in the fall and a program of varied sacred music in the spring.
