Notes

In 1947-1948, Lawrence Schoenhals was Director of the School of Music. He also conducted the A Cappella Choir and the Oratorio Society. Winifred Leighton directed the Girls' Glee Club. It is unknown who directed the Madrigals.

In addition to their regular concert season, the A Cappella Choir traveled to Everett, Mt. Vernon, Wenatchee, Colville, Coulee City, Yakima, Snoqualmie and other cities.

The Oratorio Society presented the oratorio "Hora Novissima" at Christmas time. Soloists were Mary Ruth Crown, soprano; Jean Thomas, alto; James Langston, tenor; and Robert Reiman, baritone. In the spring, they performed Handel's "Messiah."
