Notes

The 1944-1945 school year saw few changes. Lawrence Schoenhals continued as director of A Cappella Choir and the Oratorio Society. It is uncertain if the Girls' Glee Club still existed or if John Lundberg still directed them.

The A Cappella Choir was able to make their first extender tour for several years. They traveled to Portland, Tacoma and Centralia. During the year, they also sang for the YMCA, the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club and the Seattle Association of Credit Men. Their repertoire included:
     "Fairest Lord Jesus"
     "Little David"
"Song of Mary" by Carl August Fisher
     "All Breathing Life" by Bach
     "Hosanna "by Christiansen

The Oratorio presented concerts at Christmas and in the spring. In April, the School of Music hosted the annual conference of the Washington State Federation of Music Clubs. There was also a new grand piano purchased for Marston Chapel.
