1941-1942
Information is sparse for this year during WWII. Professor Schoenhals became Director of the School of Music and directed the A Cappella Choir and the College Chorus. Apparently, Professor Lundberg continued the Girls' Glee Club but that is not certain. There were only performances noted in the Cascade- both by the College Chorus. The "Messiah" was presented in December with two performances. One was at Queen Anne Baptist and the other at McKinley Auditorium. Soloists were Patricia Schage, soprano; Mildred Davidson, contralto; Robert Poland, tenor; and Arthur Zylstra, bass. Miss Marion Wilson was accompanist. The other performance was and presentation of "Elijah" at McKinley Auditorium.
