Notes

The 1926-1927 school year saw the addition of F. Carlton Booth to the facutly as a teacher of voice and director of the College Men's Chorus. Mrs. Cleo C. Bush remained director of the College Girls' Glee Club, teacher of voice and public school music. The College Girls' Glee Club and the College Men's Glee Club combined in performances as a mixed chorus.

The College Men's Glee Club gave programs at First Presbyterian Church in Renton, University Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church, Fremont Nazarene Church and were a special feature in the annual "Cascade" program. Their program featured an emphasis on gospel numbers. The group also enjoyed ice cream and cake at the Booth home provided by Professor Booth and his sister, Isabelle Upton, accompanist.

The College Girls' Glee Club presented a concert on March 18 at Foster and presented the cantata "Three Springs" on April 8 in the College Assembly Hall. The cantata was also repeated over radio station KPCB. They were active during the Educational Convention in March. Proceeds from their various programs were to be used to begin a musical library for S.P.C.

The Combined Glee Clubs presented a combined concert at Bryn Mawr.
