Notes
In the 1921-1922 school year, students were involved in two choirs. The College Chorus was directed by William Cathey. The Girls' Glee Club was a new chorus to the school at this time, directed by Golda Nelson Kendrick.
The College Chorus presented a number of cantatas during the year. Their first concert featured the cantata "Glory of the Morn." Their second featured "Life Everlasting" by Petrie. During Commencement festivities, they presented a performance of the "Messiah" by Handel.
In their first year, the Girls' Glee Club was quite active. Their performances included:
November 11 - Sang for opening meeting of the PTA
March 17, February 9 - other PTA meetings
December 6 - At Hippodrome during Education Week in Seattle
January 24 - Reception to Sunday School workers
March 3 - evening concert at the Seamen's Institute
March 27 - Investiture Day
April 30 - University Presbyterian Church morning service
May 5 - First annual program of the Girls' Glee Club
May 19 - Annual Recital of the Music Department
May 31 - Commencement
Their concert dress was white middy suits with maroon colored ties and with artistic S. P. C. badges of maroon and white. Mrs. Myrl Wilson was accompanist.
