SPU IEEE Branch wins First Place in Ethics Contest

SPU's IEEE officers attended a Region 6 (western states, Alaska, Hawaii) meeting in Portland, Oregon on where they won first place in a competition for applying the IEEE Code of Ethics.

For Incoming Freshmen

Available to incoming freshmen who plan to major in an engineering discipline at SPU.


For Incoming Transfer Students

Available to incoming transfer students who have completed an AA or AS degree and plan to major in electrical engineering at SPU.


For Continuing Engineering Students

Available to current SPU students majoring in an engineering discipline at SPU.

  • Sophomore Engineering Scholarship Apply by March 14, 2010. Engineering students who are will be taking circuits or statics next year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Junior Engineering Scholarship Apply by March 14, 2010. Engineering students who will be taking a junior design course next year (EE/EGR 3730) are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Bauman Scholar Engineering Excellence Scholarship For Electrical Engineers only – Apply by March 14, 2010. Electrical engineering students while will be taking EE senior design next year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
