SEATTLE PACIFIC UNIVERSITY  Engineering Programs

Electrical Engineering

If you've ever used anything that plugs in or has batteries (who hasn't?), then you've benefitted from the work of an electrical engineer. Electrical engineers design everything from tiny components in MP3 players and cell phones to huge power generation and distribution plants. A choice for Electrical Engineering is a choice to work in a field where you can really make a difference in the world.

SPU's EE program is designed to give you the experience and knowledge that you need to succeed in life and serve God through your career. The SPU Electrical Engineering program is accredited by ABET , which means that you'll get a great education. But, on top of that, SPU Electrical Engineering graduates are prepared in ways that traditional engineering programs can't match. A few key distinctive features of the SPU EE program are:

  • Professors who view teaching as an opportunity to serve God and their students.
  • A culture among engineering students of mutual support, servant-leadership and friendship.
  • A strong industry-supported emphasis on the design of real systems throughout the curriculum.
  • Partnership with a wide range of companies as part of the engineering internship program.
  • A strong emphasis on understanding how people trained in engineering can serve God through their careers.
  • An online/evening program for full-time working students.
