  • SPU wins First Place in Ethics Contest
    The SPU IEEE Student Branch officers attended a Region 6 (western states, Alaska, Hawaii) meeting in Portland, Oregon on October 17th where they participated in a competition for applying the IEEE Code of Ethics. Teams were given an ethics case study and tasked with proposing a solution and making a Power Point oral report. They won the $400 first prize, indicating that the decisive factor was the quality of the presentation.
