Lilly SERVE currently supports thirteen programs through the Center for Scholarship and Faculty Development at Seattle Pacific University. These programs are intended to make theological reflection on vocation a central part of the life of the university, so that students will complete their undergraduate years with a theologically rich sense of Christian life purpose.

Each project element is designed both to challenge students with a vision of vocation that transcends career, status, or material aspirations as well as to equip them with theological tools and experiences they need to discern and develop their own calling. Many SERVE programs also benefit faculty, staff, alumni of SPU, and communities outside the university.
