Grant Writing

Applying for grants to support research, writing, creativity, or teaching is a difficult business, but the process in and of itself is extremely beneficial, even it one does not receive a grant. It consolidates one's thoughts, clarifies focus and direction, prompts initial reading and researching, and encourages us to be intellectually aware and sensitive. And if you don't apply for a grant, you won't receive a grant!
