The Center for Scholarship and Faculty Development hosts three annual lectures open to the public including The Day of Common Learning, C. May Marston Lecture, and Winifred E. Faculty & Staff Summer Mini-Courses

The CSFD, in collaboration with the CBTE, is again offering a variety of faculty & staff mini-courses this summer.  Full-time, adjunct, and part-time faculty are eligible to enroll for all sessions; staff are eligible to enroll (with supervisor’s permission) in all but the 'Responding to Student Writing' course.  Each mini-course will be held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with morning refreshments and lunch provided.  Faculty who are present for the entirety of a mini-course will also receive a $100 honorarium.  Contact Anna Miller to reserve your spot now as each workshop is limited to 20 participants.  Registration for the June offerings closes June 13.  Registration for the September offerings closes on August 29.

Hosted by Assistant Director for Grants Laura Lundahl, this workshop will focus on writing about your research in ways that connect with and inspire grant makers. This hands-on workshop will provide time and space to work on your ideas so bring a zip drive or have your files available on the network. Register online by April 1, 2011.
