The goal of SPU's Teaching and Technology Grant is to evaluate curricular uses of instructional technologies using a pilot test to determine if adoption enhances teaching and learning. While SPU’s current budgeting model for technology guarantees systematic replacement of supported technology, it does not provide a funding mechanism for exploring innovative uses of instructional technology. This proof-of-concept grant will provide up to two $5000 awards during Winter Quarter 2008 to be used by Autumn Quarter of 2008. This grant is sponsored by Instructional Technology Services, the Center for Scholarship and Faculty Development, and Computer and Information Systems.
