Faculty Research Grants (FRGs) are awarded each winter by the Office of Academic Affairs to support faculty scholarship, including the scholarship of discovery, teaching and learning, application, or synthesis.  FRG funds can be used for direct research expenses, release time, or a summer stipend which can help you complete your scholarship project.   The majority of funds will be allocated to pre-tenured, tenure-track faculty. Senior faculty will be eligible for funding that is set aside specifically for post-tenure faculty.  Faculty Research Grants are administered by the Center for Scholarship and Faculty Development (CSFD), with support from the Faculty Development Committee. The deadline for 2012-13 applications was February 1, 2012.
