Referral Information

Academic mentors sometimes need to refer students they work with to other campus staff or services so that the students can access the information and resources they need. You are likely to encounter students whose questions or concerns range from issues related to course selection to personal issues that are negatively impacting their ability to be successful at the University.

Below is a list of possible student issues and links to information and campus contacts that you could offer to students. As an academic mentor it is your responsibility to keep your faculty member informed about students issues that you encounter. If you have any questions about when and how to refer students to other services and resources, please contact the Student Academic Mentor Program staff or your faculty member.
