Career Counseling

Each professional career counselor at Seattle Pacific University assists matriculated SPU students and SPU alumni in specific major and industry areas resulting in targeted career services. Counselors can help people clarify career interests; identify and articulate values and unique skills; explore potential careers and employers; develop a job search plan and refine job seeking, resume and interviewing skills. Please visit or call the Career Development Center to make an appointment.

Walk-In Hours: Monday - Thursday;  2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Stop by or call to reserve a "walk-in" time slot. Sign-up sheets are made available at 9:00 a.m. for same day "walk-ins."

 

Career counseling is free for current matriculated SPU students and alumni within one year of graduation.  One year after graduation, alumni receive two free, one-hour appointments per academic year and are charged $50 for each additional appointment.

SPU graduate students receive one resume critique and one follow-up appointment.  Our front desk can provide additional names of local, career counselors for further assistance.
