Every year, diverse groups of nonprofit organizations have come to Camp Casey Conference Center to build community, enjoy time away from life’s usual hustle and bustle, and surround themselves with the Northwest’s natural beauty.

Guests enjoy peaceful walks on the nearby beach, play lively outdoor games on the former parade ground, and take nature walks in nearby Fort Casey State Park.

When group members come together, they choose from two auditoriums, with capacity for 130 and 350 people. These multipurpose buildings are perfect for seminars or workshops, and are handicapped accessible. Auditorium A is even equipped with a large movie screen, public address system, and stage. During free time, guests have options on and off the Camp Casey Conference Center grounds. On site, enjoy an Olympic-sized heated swimming pool (seasonal use), use the gymnasium, equipped with basketball and volleyball equipment, or shoot hoops outdoors on the four full-size basketball courts. Group members can also team up on three outdoor volleyball courts, or enjoy the recreational field for favorite outdoor games.

A scenic 5-minute walk from the Casey’s grounds takes guests to Fort Casey State Park. There, adults and children can climb to the top of the Fort Casey lighthouse or explore World War I era cannons and fortresses. The historic town of Coupeville is only 3 miles north, where groups can also visit stately Victorian homes, shops, and Island County Museum. A short walk and ferry ride takes visitors to Port Townsend for an afternoon of sightseeing and recreation.

As the day comes to a close, your group can gather around the campfire pit at Camp Casey to roast marshmallows, sing, and tell stories — making just the right end to the day.
