The Elections Task Force of the Associated Students of Seattle Pacific
PROPOSE
A vote be taken by the Associated Students of Seattle Pacific University for the ratification or rejection of Proposal 2011-2012-036 VPIA Amendment, as approved by ASSP Senate on
October 17th, 2011.
If approved, the proposed amendment would result in the creation of an elected Vice President of Intercultural Affairs, affecting Article II of the ASSP Constitution as shown:
ARTICLE II: STUDENT SENATE
Section 1: Composition
The representative branch of the ASSP shall be the Student Senate. Voting members shall include the following:

- Emerson (pending official name) (1);
- Hill (1);
- Ashton (1);
- Campus Houses and Apartments (2);
- Commuter (3);
- College of Arts and Sciences: Fine Arts (1);
- College of Arts and Sciences: Humanities (1);
- College of Arts and Sciences: Science and Engineering (1);
- College of Arts and Sciences: Social and Behavioral Sciences (1);
- School of Business and Economics (1);
- School of Education (1);
- School of Health Sciences (1);
- School of Psychology, Family and Community (1);
- School of Theology (1);
- At large (2);
- Intercultural
- ASSP President
- Executive Vice President*;
- Vice President of Ministries;
- Vice President of Campus Activities;
- Vice President of Finance
- Vice President of Intercultural Affairs
A VOTE OF YES supports the ratification of the ASSP Constitution to reflect the creation of a Vice president of Intercultural Affairs.
A VOTE OF NO rejects the ratification of the ASSP Constitution to reflect the existing text.
Voting shall take place electronically through Banner Information System between 12:00 AM on February 14th, 2012 and will end at 11:59 PM on February 15th, 2012.
